WazirX terminates partnership with Liminal and will move funds to new multi-signature wallet
Indian cryptocurrency exchange WazirX has announced that it will terminate its partnership with Liminal and transfer the remaining funds in Liminal to a new multi-signature wallet. WazirX stated that due to the complexity involved in the transfer, we are very cautious about the way and timing of transferring these assets. For the sake of transparency, we will publish a list of all new wallets after the migration is complete. WazirX stated that the $23 million hack in July was related to the multi-signature wallet using Liminal's digital asset custody service. Liminal stated that its infrastructure was not compromised.
