A Colorado church organization tokenizes $2.5 million worth of churches

On August 19th, Affiliated church organization called "Colorado Prayer Academy" has tokenized its main church in an attempt to purchase the building worth $2.5 million. Pastor Blake Bush, who is leading the project, stated that he was driven by a higher power to use Blockchain technology as a tool to advance the organization's mission. Bush's church and other church groups have been renting the building from its owner, a local car dealership owner.The building, which covers 11,457 square feet, is known as the "Old Stone Church" due to its stone exterior and was purchased by its current owner in 2022 for $2.2 million. According to reports, Blake Bush and the Colorado Prayer Academy organization plan to purchase the building for $2.5 million. Bush said that after a spiritual experience, he came up with the idea of tokenizing the building - making it a digital asset that can be split into shares and put on the blockchain.
