Justin Sun Changes His Profile Picture, Surprise Altcoin Rallies
An altcoin's price jumped after Tron founder Justin Sun changed his profile picture.
A previously unknown altcoin called SUNWUKONG has surged sharply by over 142% in a short period of time, temporarily reaching $0.007145.
The increase is speculated to be linked to the news that Tron blockchain founder Justin Sun has changed his personal Twitter profile picture to Wukong, a character from the popular 3A game Black Myth: Wukong.
The game in question has also been making headlines for a while now. According to SteamDB, Black Myth: Wukong has attracted over 2.2 million concurrent players, surpassing Palworld, which launched earlier this year, and becoming the second most-played game in Steam history. The top spot is still held by PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, with 3.25 million concurrent players.
However, it is important to remember that the altcoin in question has no connection with Justin Sun. With the recent increase in memecoin contact on the Tron network, a large number of rugpull scams have also been observed and users should be careful against scams.
