Condé Nast partners with OpenAI to integrate SearchGPT with publisher's extensive catalog of articles.
Condé Nast has entered into a multi-year partnership with OpenAI, granting the AI creator access to the publisher's extensive catalogue of articles from magazines such as Vogue and Wired. The deal will allow OpenAI's SearchGPT prototype to offer direct links to news stories and eventually be integrated into ChatGPT. While the terms of the deal were not disclosed, Condé Nast CEO Roger Lynch said the partnership offers a way to recover losses and enable the company to "continue to protect and invest in our journalism and creative endeavors." However, OpenAI remains embroiled in legal battles with other news publishers over claims of copyright infringement.
