BlackRock iShares Ethereum ETF to be listed on Brazil’s B3 exchange
According to local media Portal do Bitcoin, BlackRock will list its iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) on the Brazilian B3 exchange on Wednesday.The ETF will trade in the form of Brazilian Depositary Receipts (BDRs) under the stock code ETHA39, which represents certificates of foreign company stocks traded in South American countries.Nicolas Gomez, head of BlackRock's Latin America ETF, index investment and product, said, "The launch of ETHA39 now allows investors to invest in the two largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization."In March of this year, BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) also began trading on the Brazilian stock exchange, which has become a stable market for institutional products. In addition to Bitcoin and Ethereum, the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) recently approved two Solana-based ETFs for listing on B3.
