Hamster Kombat confirms TGE date and promises major airdrop

Hamster Kombat (CRYPTO:HMSTR), the popular tap-to-earn game on Telegram, has announced that its token generation event (TGE) and airdrop will take place on September 26. 

Promoted as one of the largest airdrops in the crypto industry, 60% of the HMSTR tokens will be distributed to players, while the remainder will be used to enhance market liquidity and support the game’s ecosystem. 

Initially set for July, the TGE and airdrop were postponed due to operational issues. 

The Hamster Kombat team has since worked with the TON ecosystem to address these challenges, ensuring a smoother launch. 

The team also resolved internal conflicts, including disputes with an investment fund that believed it had a stake in the game. 

The developers clarified that Hamster Kombat was created by a global, distributed team without external investors, and their primary focus remains on building the ecosystem and conducting the airdrop. 

The game has already attracted significant interest, with major exchanges like Bitget, Bybit, Gate.io, and Kucoin listing the HMSTR token for pre-market trading since July. 

The anticipation surrounding the TGE has been strong, with the game setting several records, including becoming the largest Telegram channel with 52 million subscribers and reaching 100 million players in just two months. 

It also became the fastest YouTube channel to reach 10 million subscribers in six days. 

Looking forward, the development team plans to launch Season 2, introducing new updates and features to keep players engaged and attract new users. 

These updates are expected to increase the game’s capitalisation and boost the value of the airdrop for participants. 

With these developments, Hamster Kombat aims to expand its reach and solidify its position in the growing tap-to-earn gaming space.
