Bitcoin fell 8.6% in August and hit a two-week low in September
Data from Cointelegraph Markets Pro and TradingView show that the price of BTC has weakened and hit a low of $57,230 on Bitstamp - the last time this level was seen was on August 16. With poor liquidity as the weekend approaches, the monthly closing situation is bleak and buyers are unable to prevent further losses. Therefore, according to data from monitoring resource CoinGlass, Bitcoin fell 8.6% in August, below its average increase of 1.75%. The data also shows that September is historically a poor performing month for BTC/USD, with an average total loss of 4.5%.
