Insider: OpenAI will raise tens of billions of dollars to build US AI infrastructure
According to sources, Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, plans to attract global investors to support the construction of artificial intelligence AI infrastructure. The focus will first be launched in various states in the United States, with an expected cost of billions of dollars. The types of projects under discussion include the construction of data centers, increasing energy capacity and transmission through turbines and generators, and expanding semiconductor manufacturing. Supporters may include investors from Canada, South Korea, Japan, and the United Arab Emirates. Other private companies are expected to participate in the project.
