Satoshi Action Fund co-founder Dennis Porter stated on platform X that after a town in Norway banned Bitcoin mining, the electricity bill for each household increased by $300, an increase of over 25%. After the ban was implemented, the decrease in power demand in this area led to remaining users having to bear higher electricity costs to compensate for the loss of income caused by mining companies exiting. This change has sparked attention towards how costs are shared within power infrastructure.
