Société Générale: Markets risk forcing Fed to cut rates by 50 bps
Recent US data seems to suggest that the Federal Reserve could cut interest rates by 25 basis points by midweek. U.S. retail sales and industrial production data in the coming days could influence perceptions, he added. If weak retail sales push up pricing, the Federal Open Market Committee may worry about keeping up, he said.
