PancakeSwap Announces v4 Update, Cumulative Volume Reaches $836 Billion
Decentralized exchange PancakeSwap reported that its cumulative trading volume reached $836 billion, with a total locked-in value (TVL) of approximately $1.72 billion, according to Cointelegraph. PancakeSwap said that as of September 20, its TVL stood at $1.72 billion, down from an all-time high of $7.16 billion on May 4, 2021, and down from $7.16 billion on May 4, 2021, according to Cointelegraph. PancakeSwap said its TVL was $1.72 billion as of Sept. 20, down from an all-time high of $7.16 billion on May 4, 2021.
PancakeSwap utilizes an automated market maker (AMM) model and serves more than 43 million unique addresses. pancakeSwap announced that it will be releasing a v4 version designed to enhance the user experience and scalability, and improve liquidity provision and interoperability.
