Uniswap Labs CEO: Harris' First Public Support for Digital Assets is Encouraging
U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris has publicly expressed support for digital assets, a move that Uniswap Labs CEO Hayden Adams voiced his support for on social media, seeing it as a positive signal. "Kamala just said she would encourage innovative technologies like digital assets. I believe this is the first time she has mentioned cryptocurrency in a positive way," he said. However, industry insiders are skeptical about this, pointing out that the Biden administration's policy towards cryptocurrency over the past four years has not been friendly. In response to this, Adams stated: "I agree that Biden's performance with regard to cryptocurrency and the tech industry has been poor. Harris is implying that her administration will handle it differently and be more supportive of innovation."
