French blockchain securities trading platform Kriptown completes 4.2 million euros in Series A financing, led by BNP Paribas
French blockchain securities trading platform Kriptown announced the completion of a €4.2 million Series A financing round, led by BNP Paribas, Bpifrance and Centilux Family Office. BNP Paribas and Bpifrance have become shareholders of the company. The new funds will be used to establish a European securities exchange specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises under the European DLT pilot system, allowing the creation of financial markets based on blockchain technology.In addition, Kriptown has officially submitted a DLT TSS (Trading and Settlement System) license application to the French Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR) under the European DLT pilot system.
