Bitcoin Suisse released a statement that EURC, the stablecoin backed by the euro and developed by Circle, is now available with no custody costs. There are no extra costs for users to keep the stablecoin in their Bitcoin Suisse accounts.
Notably, the EURC is fully backed by reserves held in regulated European institutions. It also benefits from regular monthly attestations, ensuring transparency and trust. Supported across blockchains like Ethereum, Solana, and Avalanche, EURC enhances trading flexibility for Bitcoin Suisse clients.
Expansion of Stablecoin Offerings
The inclusion of EURC follows Bitcoin Suisse’s decision to waive custody fees for USDC in July 2024. The move further strengthens its partnership with Circle, enabling clients to trade EURC as a standard pair across all crypto assets available on the platform. Additionally, cold storage of EURC in Bitcoin Suisse Vaults will incur a minimal fee of 0.20% per year.
Fast transactions, great liquidity, and little volatility are features of stablecoins like EURC. They are perfect for trading, portfolio diversification, and international payments because of their features. As a result, clients of Bitcoin Suisse are able to access a stable asset denominated in euros, which acts as a dependable hedge against market declines.

Circle’s French entity, holding an Electronic Money Institution license, complies with the Markets in Crypto Assets Regulation (MiCAR). This regulatory approval positions Circle as the first global stablecoin issuer to meet MiCAR obligations, enhancing the credibility of EURC.
