Ripple Custody announces support for XRP Ledger tokenization
Ripple's subsidiary, Ripple Custody, which focuses on customer asset custody, announced its support for tokenization on the XRP Ledger. According to cryptocurrency lawyer Bill Morgan, these functions will also involve XRP tokens, thereby increasing the adoption of digital assets. Ripple Custody confirmed in a news release that the company will be able to tokenize and manage some assets, including RWA, cryptocurrencies, and fiat currencies, while also "facilitating the issuance of digital assets and securely transferring them directly from its platform."
