Crypto ATMs to launch at 45 new locations across 5 US states
Access to cryptocurrency in the U.S. is set to broaden significantly as Yesway, a rapidly expanding convenience store chain, partners with Coinflip to install digital currency kiosks at 45 new locations.
These kiosks, also known as Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) ATMs, will soon be available across Texas, South Dakota, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Iowa, offering customers a seamless and secure way to buy and sell Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
Coinflip, a Chicago-based cryptocurrency platform, announced the expansion on Thursday, highlighting Yesway as "one of the nation’s fastest-growing convenience store chains with locations in the Southwest and Midwest."
The installation of Coinflip’s kiosks in Yesway and Allsup’s stores aims to make digital currencies more accessible in underserved regions.
Founded in 2015, Yesway operates 435 stores across nine states, including Texas, New Mexico, and Iowa.
Coinflip boasts the largest network of digital currency kiosks globally by transaction volume, with over 5,000 kiosks across nine countries, serving more than 400,000 customers.
The company prioritises security and reliability in its services, ensuring that customers have a trustworthy experience when using its kiosks.
Josh Allen, Coinflip’s VP of Global Kiosks, stated, "Yesway embodies this customer- and community-first ethos," emphasising the importance of expanding into locations that prioritise convenience and customer service.
Alan Adato, Senior Manager of Merchandising and Procurement at Yesway, added, "Coinflip will provide our Yesway and Allsup’s customers the convenience of a seamless experience for buying or selling digital currencies."
