Trump wins US election, crypto stocks surge yesterday
After Trump won the election and Bitcoin hit a historic high, US cryptocurrency stocks rose sharply at the end of the trading day, with most gains reaching double digits.
Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase Global Inc (COIN) was one of the largest donors during this election cycle, with the stock rising the most on November 6th, closing up 31.11% at $254.3, and up 62.1% year-to-date.
Robinhood Markets Inc (HOOD) also rose 19.6% that day;
BTC buyer MicroStrategy Inc (MSTR) also closed up more than 13%. Other US Bitcoin miners' stock prices also rose, with Riot Platforms Inc (RIOT) closing up 26%, CleanSpark Inc (CLSK) up 23%, and Hut 8 Corp (HUT) up 11%.
