Former SEC Chairman: Cryptocurrency legislation may be introduced during Trump's presidency

Former US Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Jay Clayton said on Wednesday that the US Congress may pass legislation to regulate cryptocurrencies after Trump took office. Clayton also stated that he supports easing regulatory burdens to encourage companies to go public, which suggests a wide range of changes in public policy are expected, something the industry is currently looking forward to, for which they have spent a huge amount of money influencing this month's presidential election.
