Pre-election "closed border" poll shows Harris leading Trump by 4 percentage points
On November 5th, NPR, PBS, and Marist Poll released a poll on the election. The poll showed that the Democratic presidential candidate and Vice President of the United States, Harris, leads the Republican presidential candidate Trump by 4 percentage points in national support. Harris has the support of 51% of potential voters, while Trump's support rate is 47%, just outside the margin of error of 3.5%. This result is very similar to four years ago, with the 2020 poll showing Biden's support rate at 51% and Trump's support rate at 47%, with Trump also trailing by 4 percentage points.
